Work on a high-impact data platform within a leading financial institution, focusing on mortgage systems and critical data flows. As a Java Developer with strong Oracle expertise, you will contribute to building and maintaining a modern datastore in an agile environment, using technologies such as Java, SQL, and Azure DevOps.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and develop backend solutions using Java and Oracle (SQL / PL/SQL)
  • Build and maintain data integrations and data quality frameworks
  • Support IT Risk & Security controls and contribute to audits
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues using monitoring and alerting tools

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Java backend development
  • Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience with data engineering, data integration, and data quality
  • Familiar with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) ways of working
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in complex, regulated environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Kafka (Streams, Connect, Schema Registry)
  • Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
