Job Responsibility:
User Support: Provide technical support to internal users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Active Directory Management: Assist in the creation, modification, and deletion of user accounts, groups, and permissions within Active Directory (AD)
Windows Operating System: Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10/11 operating systems
Hardware Management: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of various hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets
Documentation: Create and update technical documentation for IT procedures and common support issues
Requirements:
Familiarity with Windows OS: Basic knowledge of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows environments
Active Directory Basics: Understanding of user and group management in Active Directory
Hardware Proficiency: Experience or strong understanding of installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer hardware
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Initiative: Ability to work without supervision and take initiative to complete IT project task lists
Nice to have:
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Spiceworks)
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts
Experience with creating/modifying Group Policies in Active Directory (AD)
