Job Description

We are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity to join the IT team as an Integration Developer. Reporting to the IT Development Manager this role will act as the technical bridge between our robust, internal developed core systems and modern cloud based SaaS platforms. Working with the Development, Engineering and Project teams your primary focus will be to define API driven integrations and utilise Microsoft middleware to create seamless, event driven data flows across the business.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, build, and orchestrate secure API integrations and complex data flows across disparate systems
  • Manage extraction, transformation, and routing of data working with multiple integration protocols (REST, GraphQL)
  • Engineer and maintain Microsoft‑centric middleware solutions using Azure integration stack (API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions)
  • Promote scalable, decoupled, and event‑driven integration patterns
  • Embed 'Secure by Design' principles across all integration solutions
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation covering APIs, middleware processes, and end‑to‑end system integrations

Requirements

  • Strong educational foundation in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Deep technical expertise in Azure Integration Services
  • Broad and practical understanding of traditional and modern development technology stacks
  • Comprehensive knowledge of API consumption patterns, integration architectures, and data mapping and transformation techniques
  • Solid grasp of modern authentication and authorisation protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, API key–based authentication)
  • Strong understanding of API security best practices and threat mitigation strategies
  • Proven commercial experience orchestrating API connections and designing or developing middleware to integrate complex enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Excellent track record of translating complex business and project requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical integration solutions
  • Strong experience working with version control systems and associated development workflows (preference for Git-based practices)
  • Total integrity, accountability, objectivity, and professionalism
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to innovate and think creatively
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem (Power Automate, Power Apps) highly desirable
