Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimize our multi-cloud environment while leading a talented team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing infrastructure across multiple sites and involves balancing technical oversight with effective team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing innovative solutions in complex IT environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a team of infrastructure experts, ensuring accountability and supporting their growth and development
  • Oversee and optimize multi-cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS
  • Provide architectural guidance for complex systems, ensuring reliability and scalability across multi-tenant, multi-domain, and multi-forest environments
  • Manage and enhance core IT services such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and endpoint management
  • Collaborate with peer leaders and IT teams to align infrastructure strategies with business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation processes
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning and design through testing and implementation, ensuring alignment with business requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and efficiency in technology tools and services

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including hands-on technical expertise
  • Proven experience with servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including firewalls, switches, routers, and Fortinet platforms
  • Expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools like Intune
  • Familiarity with storage, backup, and recovery technologies
  • Ability to manage complex environments, including multi-cloud and multi-domain setups
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 5 years of team management experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across departments
