Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled IT Help Desk Technician, Level II to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this long-term contract role, you will provide critical technical support and guidance for healthcare-related systems, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the healthcare industry, supporting radiology departments and clinical teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver technical support for digital imaging systems and ancillary software used in radiology departments
  • Conduct system testing and maintenance to ensure reliability and functionality
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including diagnostic reading stations, and coordinate repairs with vendors as needed
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify workflow improvements and implement quality assurance measures
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and repair of software-related problems across multiple healthcare facilities
  • Analyze system performance and provide proactive recommendations to enhance stability and efficiency
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on the use and troubleshooting of technical systems
  • Manage asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of IT resources
  • Assist in network troubleshooting and maintenance, including VPN and firewall configurations
  • Support software updates, patches, and system upgrades to maintain compliance and functionality

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • At least three years of experience in IT, informatics, or technology-related fields
  • Familiarity with PACS systems and imaging devices is preferred
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and general computer systems
  • Experience with radiology systems such as Intelerad, Philips Intellispace, or similar platforms is an advantage
  • Knowledge of asset inventory management and data entry processes
