Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for an IT Generalist to support a client in the construction industry. You will be a critical part of the team, directly supporting both end-users and strategic IT initiatives across multiple sites. This position is 100% onsite in Eugene, Oregon with occasional travel to other sites. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Microsoft 365 administration, infrastructure ownership, and network modernization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra, Intune, Teams, Exchange, and security configurations
  • Deploy and manage users and devices (tablets, phones, computers)
  • Build, maintain, and modernize company network infrastructure, including Meraki cloud networking
  • Manage cloud backups and on-premises NAS storage for cost control
  • Provide end-user support across multiple locations as required
  • Collaborate with management to ensure IT strategy, security standards, and technology initiatives are implemented successfully
  • Lead ongoing IT modernization and security improvement projects
  • Use PowerShell and automation scripting to maintain device health and streamline processes
  • Travel locally to show presence onsite and support multi-site IT operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 admin
  • Strong PowerShell skills and experience with automation scripting in Intune
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security stack
  • Experience working with cloud vendors within a Microsoft tenant
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security best practices

Nice to have:

  • Meraki cloud networking experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site or construction environments
