Job Description

Madison-based government org is seeking a FieldTech Support resource to provide desktop support across their central office and field facilities. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting end-user devices while supporting hardware refresh initiatives and day-to-day technical issues.

Job Responsibility

  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop/laptop issues (onsite and remote support)
  • Image, configure, and deploy new devices
  • Support device setup and provide end-user assistance
  • Maintain asset inventory and handle equipment lifecycle/recycling
  • Manage and close tickets within the DOC ticketing system
  • Support field locations periodically (travel required within WI)
  • Follow DOC processes, policies, and technical standards

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with: Remote troubleshooting
  • End-user support and customer interaction
  • Device imaging and deployment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be comfortable with physical requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing up to 8 hours as needed)

  • Support the DXC area on the North side of the building with staging and sorting
  • Assist the Media Services team with sorting and disposing of AV storage across the building
  • Perform general cleanup and trash removal throughout the facility
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory documentation throughout the project
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to align on priorities and report on progress
