We are looking for a confident and technically capable Field Engineer to support key clients across Berkshire and Wiltshire. This is not simply a reactive support role. You will be relied upon to maintain stable, high-performing environments while acting as a trusted technical partner to your clients. You will serve as the link between client sites and internal teams, combining strong troubleshooting capability with clear communication and excellent service delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Managing escalated technical support tickets from 1st Line, resolving more complex issues
Conducting thorough root cause analysis rather than applying short-term fixes
Supporting users remotely and attending site visits when required
Providing clear technical guidance and practical solutions to end users
Accurately documenting incidents and resolutions within the ticketing system
Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement
Contributing ideas to improve processes and overall service delivery
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Entra ID, Windows Server and core networking fundamentals
Thrive in a client-facing environment
Communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Enjoy ownership and accountability
Work well independently while contributing to a wider technical team
