Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a dynamic and well-established organisation in Muscat, Oman. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to lead high-impact IT and ERP transformation projects that directly support the company’s strategic growth and operational excellence across regional and international operations. As IT Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives, working closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT and ERP projects (scope, budget, timeline)
  • Define clear project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and resource plans in alignment with business priorities
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, risk registers, and governance frameworks
  • Proactively monitor progress, identify risks/issues, and drive timely mitigation and resolution
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and steering committee reporting
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (IT, finance, HR, operations, third-party vendors, and system integrators)
  • Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
  • Oversee the technical implementation and integration of ERP systems and supporting IT solutions
  • Manage vendor selection, contracts, performance, and delivery against SLAs
  • Control project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial discipline throughout the lifecycle
  • Drive quality assurance, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and champion continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • 5-8 years of proven IT project management experience, with a strong track record in ERP implementations (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar)
  • Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of ERP modules, system integration, data migration, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity basics
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor and budget management on projects valued at US$1m+
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written and verbal English
  • Arabic is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering business value
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and lead diverse teams
