Proven experience in race engine calibration both on test cells and in-car
Experience in base engine development within a respected high-end organisation
Degree in an engineering discipline
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, remaining calm under pressure
Ability to inspire and manage technical staff to achieve engine group goals
Determination to meet challenging targets within tight timescales
Strong analytical approach to problem solving
Broad understanding of internal combustion race engine fundamentals
Practical experience with engine calibration on the dyno and in-car
Knowledge of analysis and simulation tools

Job Responsibility

Undertake development projects to achieve project engineering objectives including performance, durability goals within tight time and cost boundaries
Devise, organise and carry out development tests including but not limited to Engine dyno tests for performance development, durability testing, calibration, production engine signoff
Torsional vibration studies using high speed loggers and analysis software
General development of engine systems such as oil systems, cooling systems, exhaust and inlet systems. Turbo systems
Valve train dynamic studies using rig testing / high speed loggers
Organise other development tests including airflow rigs etc
Set specifications and in some cases design of development test parts
Liaise with suppliers and technical partners on various engineering activities
Provide track side engine support for Prodrive race and rally cars with the factory team and or customer teams and support engine pool planning and ensure engines are operated within strict guidelines
Analysis of test data and preparation of formal reports

BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Sound foundational understanding of a wide range of computer science topics and concerns relating to system and software design
At least 5 years of experience as a senior engineer building product features and full-stack web applications

Ability to communicate at the right altitude with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Job Responsibility

Build features and functionality for the Everlaw core product
Work closely with Product, Design, DevOps, Security Engineering and application engineering leads to synthesize requirements and prioritize efforts
Lead roadmapping, resourcing and execution for critical features and capabilities
Support and coach engineers in their career development and growth
Work closely with Engineering Operations team to improve processes to help with goal setting, empowerment and execution across Everlaw Engineering efforts
