Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire IT onboarding and offboarding including equipment provisioning and IT security orientation
  • Own the IT user account and hardware inventory lifecycle
  • Resolve IT issues reported by employees with a focus to educate and discover self-service opportunities
  • Provide in-person IT support in our Chicago office for video conferencing & AV equipment, office technology, and WiFi
  • Utilize mobile device management tools (Jamf / Intune) to enforce security baselines on our fleet of corporate devices
  • Research, evaluate and make proposals on new technology and support methods

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years experience in systems administration or IT support
  • Primary expertise in macOS with solid proficiency in Windows
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
  • Experience with administering a single-sign on service like Okta
  • Ability to troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, routers, switches in corporate offices
  • Communicating complex IT concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical users
