Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT Director to lead technological initiatives and manage IT operations in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology leadership within industries such as supply chain, manufacturing, or electrical energy services. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of driving innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of systems and processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee IT operations, including infrastructure management, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and disaster recovery planning
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide policies to support technology infrastructure and ensure compliance
  • Lead the integration and optimization of software platforms and workflows to enhance organizational productivity
  • Manage the implementation of supply chain, warehouse, and financial management solutions
  • Drive innovation by fostering the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics
  • Develop and present business cases for technological investments, including buy, build, and service decisions
  • Negotiate contracts, optimize licensing agreements, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure service quality
  • Provide leadership in engineering, data collection, and the monitoring of remote operation centers and assets
  • Establish IT strategies and roadmaps to align technology initiatives with business objectives
  • Supervise helpdesk operations and support services to maintain high levels of user satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management within manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries
  • Proven leadership experience in roles such as IT Director or VP of Technology
  • Expertise in implementing and managing enterprise software applications and third-party products
  • Solid understanding of computer networks, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with database applications such as SQL Server and other data management tools
  • Experience in developing and deploying business intelligence and analytics solutions
  • Strong contract negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategic IT roadmaps and deliver on major change initiatives
