Job Description:

The IT Development Lead drives the delivery activities of the DCC@DC Solution (Product Information Management, Media Asset Management and Data Logistics) across the lifecycle, takes part in Solution-related development projects and oversees changes in integrated products and components. DCC stands for Digital Content Chain including mainly PIM and MAM.

Job Responsibility:

Takes over responsibility and coordinates all technical developments of the DCC@DC Solution under consideration of software development guidelines
Assesses customer requirements from a technical perspective with respective effort estimations
Assists in the design and development of proof of concept and prototypes
Collaborates with Solution and IT Architects on the delivery of DCC@DC Solution functionalities
Supports cross-communication with different internal teams
Steering of internal and external developers
Participates in tier 3 IT Solution support activities including incident management and the assessment and delivery of application upgrades and patches
Documents specifications and supports the creation of operational support manuals during the technical implementation
Takes over responsibility for interface / middleware implementation and documentation
Participates in risk analysis assessments and analyzes impact of implemented IT changes
Balances between standardization and customer orientation as well as development speed and time-to-market
Takes charge of deployments, organizes and coordinates Solution releases
Adapts testing methodology (market standards)

Requirements:

Experienced in effectively collaborating and communicating (English required)
Working knowledge in respective development environment and technology (JavaScript, XML/XSD/XSL, REST)
Basic knowledge of cloud technology
Basic knowledge of middleware technology (Talend)
Working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and techniques/ability to interpret quality indicators
Capable of documenting and interpreting functional and technical specifications
Experienced in leading a team (preferred)
Working knowledge in Agile methodology
Knows the required templates, processes and regulations from the Solution excellence
