A defense manufacture is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support for enterprise users. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and end-user assistance across desktops, laptops, and networked devices in a professional IT environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide IT infrastructure field support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues
Install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
Support imaging, deployment, and hardware lifecycle management processes
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP connectivity issues
Deliver “smart hands” support for networking and peripheral hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling
Conduct repeat call analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime
Collaborate with remote support teams to resolve escalated incidents quickly
Requirements:
2–4 years of experience in IT field support, desktop engineering, or infrastructure services
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise applications
Familiarity with network fundamentals and hardware diagnostics
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Associate Degree in Electronics or related field preferred
