IT Deskside Support & IT Projects Engineer | On-Site | Strong Career Path. They are now expanding their IT function and are looking for an IT Deskside Support / IT Projects Engineer to join a hands-on, collaborative technology team. This is an on-site role with significant exposure to large-scale IT projects, including enterprise systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality, on-site deskside support to internal users
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues within agreed SLAs
  • Taking ownership of incidents while coordinating with external vendors when required
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, asset records, and ticket updates
  • Supporting finance-related systems and assisting with supplier onboarding
  • Contributing to the rollout of internal query and workflow management tools
  • Assisting with the delivery, testing, and rollout of major ERP initiatives, including automation technologies

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a deskside or IT support role
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft Office / Office 365 environments
  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and end-user device support
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across both hardware and software
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to network infrastructure (switches, routers, access points, patching)
  • Printer and peripheral hardware experience
  • Previous involvement with ERP platforms (SAP highly advantageous)
  • Experience with EDI systems or finance-related IT processes
