Job Description

Red's client is looking for a deployment lead experienced at managing several parallel enterprise level application deployments.

Job Responsibility

  • Deployment Planning & Governance: Ensuring deployment strategies, schedules, environments, testing, backups, rollback plans, and Change Advisory Board (CAB) approvals are in place before release
  • Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Proactive communication with business users, IT support, operations, and vendors to set expectations around timing, impact, and support
  • Deployment Execution & Issue Management: Structured execution using runbooks, war rooms, and monitoring to validate system health, manage incidents quickly, and make informed go/no-go or rollback decisions
  • Post-Deployment Stabilization (Hypercare): Defined hypercare periods ensure system stability, business sign-off, effective incident triage, and a controlled transition to steady-state operations and support teams
  • Documentation, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement: Capture of deployment outcomes, lessons learned, and process improvements through release notes, version records, and post-implementation reviews
