Job Responsibility

  • Provide a people facing, technical support function across three Distribution centres in Victoria
  • Work from more than one site per week
  • Provide support to IT BAU, Projects and IT Changes into Warehouses
  • Provide quality technical support services to all customers in a professional, responsive and effective manner for desktop computing hardware, software applications, mobility devices, and numerous other technology solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience providing technical support to a complex Distribution Centre
  • Strong customer facing skills, business acumen, and integrity
  • A collaborative style, able to work with and assist local, interstate teams, and external support partners
  • Experience working within an ITIL environment
  • Availability to travel interstate to relieve team members - potentially one or two assignments per year
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills along with a working knowledge of WMS
  • Innovative thinking and analysis that influences a more productive environment for our customers

  • Managing SAW inventory, including ordering, receiving, assigning/re-assigning, and decommissioning devices
  • Providing guidance to users for common SAW repair issues and escalating issues experienced by users
  • Performing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for SAWs damaged within the first 30 days of receipt
  • Providing Data Center Technician (DCT) support when needed. Responsibilities include performing power cycles, swap out failed components, handling storage media, and perform troubleshooting when needed. Also, performing cable installations, hardware rack / stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using standard data center processes
