We are seeking an IT Data Operations Specialist to execute controlled, high-precision data organization, digitization and systemization tasks within our Information Technology department. This role requires strict operational discipline, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong understanding of data security and information governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming legacy archives into structured, secure, and accessible digital systems while maintaining absolute confidentiality and data integrity.
Job Responsibility:
Process, organize, and digitize legacy archives across multiple functional domains
Convert existing records into structured, searchable digital assets within approved IT systems
Apply and enforce standardized naming conventions, indexing structures, and version-control protocols
Verify data accuracy, completeness, and traceability at every stage of execution
Maintain strict confidentiality, access controls, and security procedures
Document workflows, system changes, and operational processes with precision
Identify risks, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies in data organization and escalate appropriately
Coordinate with IT leadership to ensure alignment with internal systems and governance standards
Requirements:
Experience in IT operations, database management, or document management systems
Exceptional organizational discipline and sustained attention to detail
Strong understanding of data security, access controls, and information governance
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with accuracy and discretion
Self-directed, dependable, and able to execute tasks with urgency and consistency
Comfortable working within structured environments and defined operational standards
Proficiency with enterprise file systems, scanning workflows, and digital archiving tools
Nice to have:
Master's degree in Information Technology or a closely related discipline (e.g., Database Management, Network Management, Digital Information Systems or Cybersecurity)
Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven data environments
Experience managing historical or archival datasets
Familiarity with backup, recovery, and data-retention policies
