Job Description

The core task of the IT Coworker is to ensure uninterrupted and efficient IT services to be provided to co-workers and to maintain and operate IT infrastructure, systems and IT services.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure uninterrupted and efficient IT services to be provided to co-workers
  • Maintain and operate IT infrastructure, systems and IT services
  • Ensure all IKEA IT operations in all units within the market are running smoothly
  • Support and resolve IKEA coworker's hardware and applications related issues and requests
  • Coordinate and communicate with IKEA vendors and service office IT colleagues
  • Maintain and monitor IT assets such as workstations, Laptops, Printers and Data Center Hardware
  • Maintain agreed internal SLAs connected to IT services
  • Monitor daily backups of IKEA
  • Monitoring and recording all IT Asset and hardware for audit purposes
  • Provide input on IT equipment/products/services risks and suggest solutions
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine monitoring
  • Take necessary decisions and actions to solve issues

Requirements

  • Up to 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering
  • Experience in working in internal or sourced IT Helpdesk
  • Excellent troubleshooting and issue handling
  • Controlling data centre and troubleshooting experience
  • Should have an experienced background of how to handle switches, computers, laptops and corporate servers
  • Communication skills and ability to understand user's issues and problems
