Job Description:

The Application Specialist's primary responsibility is to carry out the configuration and development activities for the company's Microsoft Dynamics NAV system & Business Central and to resolve the end-user's day-to-day issues. the primary focus will be technical liaison to business groups for application support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out the configuration and development activities for the company's Microsoft Dynamics NAV system & Business Central
  • Resolve the end-user's day-to-day issues
  • Technical liaison to business groups for application support
  • Debug system problems, and craft resolutions
  • Write reports using C/AL, SSRS, and Visual Studio
  • Installation and implementation of service packs and hot fixes as needed
  • Coordinate and contribute to end-user training including system documentation and training materials
  • Assist with functional specifications of customizations and integrations required for NAV implementations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • IT Related bachelor's degree or computer diploma / certificate
  • Communication skills should be very clear in both written and spoken
  • Strong identification with the IKEA culture and values
  • High interest in home furnishings, people´s life at home and the IKEA range
  • Understand Computers, Network and Hardware fundamentals
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Operational and procedural knowledge of Navision, DOMS, SMGF and Ecommerce
  • Understanding of User experience and User Journey
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting different IKEA Business Tools
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused service industry
  • Up to date knowledge of market trends on different applications which support IKEA Business
  • Able to handle simultaneous issues during peak times and capabilities to resolve them on time
  • Experience customizing NAV 2009 R2, NAV 2015, NAV 2016, Business Central, D365 F&O
  • Install and Configuration certifications will be an added advantage
  • Functional knowledge of the Finance Management, Sales & Marketing, and Purchase, Warehouse
