Job Description:

The IT Business Unit Sr Analyst is responsible for implementing agile practices and tools to align process improvements with the organization's strategies, establishing governance mechanisms for standard practices throughout the software lifecycle. The role involves analyzing current processes to identify risks and controls and formulating recommendations for continued alignment with local and global standards. The Analyst facilitates the adoption of agile practices within the Mexico Technology organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • tracks business unit performance against the IT business plan and service level agreements
  • identifies gaps
  • works on mergers & acquisitions and outsourcing/right placement activities
  • contributes to and/or creates internal communications
  • creates and prepares reports, metrics, and presentations
  • applies comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas collectively integrate to achieve business goals
  • acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level employees
  • provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information
  • ensures quality of work provided by self and others
  • assesses risk when business decisions are made
  • ensures transparency in managing control issues
  • ensures implementation of processes and procedures
  • evaluates controls to mitigate process lifecycle risks
  • ensures compliance with local and global standards
  • provides support and guidance for agile practices
  • updates all documentation relating to processes and improvements
  • mentors and trains on agile practices
  • anticipates team needs and provides support
  • measures efficiency and effectiveness of process improvements

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in a technology planning role
  • leadership and developmental skills
  • deep knowledge of agile practices and tools
  • knowledge of process reengineering and continuous improvement techniques
  • experience in user training and support
  • leadership/establishing highly collaborative teams or communities
  • optional experience in project management
  • reporting and analysis
  • solid leadership skills
  • problem-solving and analytical skills
  • self-motivated and highly motivated
  • strong work ethic
  • ability to constantly adapt to demand
  • communication, public speaking, and logical thinking skills
  • university degree or equivalent experience
  • +3 years of experience in agile practices
  • ability to have conversations in English
  • agile certifications are a plus
