Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Intern to support Business Relationship Management (BRM) & ERP Programs that is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. The candidate will support IT initiatives by helping align technology solutions with business needs across shipbuilding operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise systems, business process documentation, and IT project support while working with BRM team members and cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and support enterprise transformation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support BRM efforts connecting IT initiatives with business needs across shipbuilding operations
  • Learn and document how enterprise systems support engineering, production, and logistics
  • Assist with capturing and organizing business requirements and process improvement ideas
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to support stakeholder engagement and documentation
  • Help translate discussions into clear requirements and supporting materials
  • Support analysis of gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Assist with IT project activities such as planning support, testing (UAT), and status tracking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams while supporting documentation, training, and change activities

Requirements:

  • Must be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
