Job Description:

The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Job Responsibility:

Manage Data Quality and Functional Requirements team for assigned product
Supervise business analytic team supporting systems
Provide direction and technical leadership on complex projects
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting data to meet business requirements
Adopt metrics driven environment and establish governance
Conduct analysis for data initiatives including data requirements, issues management
Liaise with project/development teams during program and project life cycles
Partner with finance, Data and technology teams
Resolve issues with impact beyond own area
Work as team to achieve objectives and negotiate with parties
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders
Manage teams
Assess risk when making business decisions

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in similar roles across banking or services technology
Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools
Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
Prior experience in Data Quality Issue management, Data Quality Rules, Lineage preferred
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines
Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance
Master's degree
Prior experience in Data Quality Issue management, Data Quality Rules, Lineage
