Job Description:

The IT Business Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Job Responsibility:

Manage Data Quality and Functional Requirements team for assigned product
Supervise a business analytic team supporting one large system or multiple systems
Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting data to meet business requirements
Adopt in a metrics driven environment and establish necessary governance
Conduct analysis and execute tasks for data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage and Data Governance
Liaising with project/development teams and providing support during program and project life cycles
Partners with finance, Data and technology teams in delivery of role
Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area
Work as a team to achieve objectives and negotiate with internal and external parties
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Ability to manage teams
Assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

6+ years of experience working in similar roles across banking or services technology
Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance is preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools
Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
Prior experience in Data Quality Issue management, Data Quality Rules, Lineage preferred
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven interpersonal skills with ability to partner and influence across organizational lines
Proven ability of using complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance
Master's degree
