We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT Global Banking team. In this critical role, you will provide essential support to our Global Banking Operations clients, ensuring the seamless performance and stability of our core financial systems. This position is ideal for a professional who possesses a deep understanding of global finance and trade finance processes, combined with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues, analyze user needs, and maintain system integrity. Rather than focusing on large-scale implementations, this role offers the opportunity to become a key subject matter expert, driving continuous improvement through system maintenance, support of existing processes, and hands-on, high-impact system evolutions. Job Responsibility
Analyzing incidents and technical anomalies to identify root causes, troubleshooting system issues, and actively working to resolve technical challenges
Assisting Operations users with the functionality of key industry applications, specifically FBTI and Loan IQ
Authoring comprehensive 'How-To' documentation and building a robust local Support Library to empower team members and streamline future troubleshooting
Collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various Global Banking business units (including Trade Finance, Payments, and Lending) to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements
Developing high-quality business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications documents (FSDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows
Utilizing Power BI and data analysis tools to create dynamic visualizations and reports that support the Global Banking Operations team
Creating detailed process flow diagrams of present-state operations and future-state developments to visualize workflows and system designs
Facilitating interactive workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to gather valuable insights, align expectations, and drive collaborative problem-solving
Identifying strategic opportunities to optimize IT systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the overall user experience
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, computer science, or a related field
a master's degree is preferred
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in global banking, financial services, or a closely related environment
Direct hands-on experience with Loan IQ, FBTI software, or equivalent global banking and lending platforms
Strong, comprehensive knowledge of global banking products, trade finance, payments, and lending operations
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Power BI), writing SQL queries, and manipulating and analyzing large datasets
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to lead discussions, influence stakeholders, and independently drive topics to successful completion
Sharp analytical capabilities with a keen attention to detail and a passion for diagnosing and resolving complex system behaviors
