We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for one of our Insurance clients in Zurich, Switzerland, to join on a 6‑month contract (with extension possible) and an 80–100% workload. In this role, you’ll step into a high‑impact mandate at the Corporate Centre, where you will help reshape and accelerate the financial closing procedures. This is not a typical BA position, you’ll be diving into workflows, understanding system and data dependencies, and identifying where automation, AI and process redesign can be introduced to make the closing cycle faster, smarter, and far more efficient. You will work onsite in Zurich (4 days a week) alongside senior Finance stakeholders, IT teams, data/AI specialists, and global near/offshore colleagues. Your mission: reduce manual work, increase automation, streamline data flows, and translate your findings into tangible technical and process improvements. With strong SAP FICO and group reporting knowledge, plus your experience in requirements engineering and process mapping, you’ll be the key driver in helping the Corporate Center meet a direct request from the Group CEO to significantly accelerate financial close timelines. If you enjoy a role where business meets technology, where your analysis directly influences high‑visibility decisions, and where you can truly shape transformation across processes and systems, this is the right opportunity for you. You’ll find a dynamic environment, cross‑functional exposure, and the chance to leave a concrete footprint in one of the most important finance initiatives of the year. Working language of the team is English
