The API Office acts as a centralized point of engagement for IT teams developing, publishing, and consuming APIs. Responsibilities include facilitating API governance, stewarding API strategy, and defining standards and best practices for operating within an API‑driven ecosystem. The team also partners with solution teams to provide consultation and guidance, including proactive engagement with application development teams, road mapping, reporting, and product management for API gateway and event‑driven architecture capabilities. An IT Business Analyst is needed to support these efforts. This role will contribute to critical responsibilities such as work coordination, product administration and reporting, and serving as the team’s Scrum Master. The IT Business Analyst will collaborate closely with technical teams to manage incoming requests, plan and facilitate architecture sessions, lead Scrum ceremonies, and champion Agile best practices. Additional responsibilities include managing tool licensing, maintaining team documentation, and delivering reports and dashboards to support informed decision‑making. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders and have a strong technical aptitude, including a general understanding of APIs and software development concepts. Experience using Agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement is essential.
