Job Description

We are seeking a talented IT Business Analyst to join our team and work on Global Markets Pre-Trade IT projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in algorithmic trading and execution platforms and be passionate about improving real-time trading workflows across equities and securities financing.

Job Responsibility

  • Gather, document, and own functional requirements for algorithmic trading systems and execution platforms, working directly with business stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specs and use cases that development teams can actually build from
  • Facilitate ongoing communication between trading desks, IT teams, and project stakeholders to keep everyone aligned
  • Participate in testing and validation of new features, making sure what gets delivered matches what was asked for
  • Support users day-to-day, handling questions and helping with training as the platforms evolve

Requirements

  • +5 years of experience as a BA in a front-office environment, with hands-on exposure to in-house trade execution platforms (non high frequency)
  • Good understanding of the execution lifecycle and order types, across equities and/or securities financing
  • Experience with trading platforms such as Fidessa, Horizon, Dash Financials, Bloomberg EMSX, or ION is a strong plus
  • Comfortable with data analysis tools including SQL, Excel, and FIX messaging
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and able to work autonomously without needing to be guided at every step
  • Strong team player who takes initiative and gets things done
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT, or a related field
