Job Description:

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with first line IT support for all staff and volunteers in Isabel Hospice.

Job Responsibility:

  • To receive, acknowledge and action IT support requests, resolving where possible and referring appropriately more complex cases
  • To ensure access to IT systems is effectively controlled
  • To support induction of users to ensure effective use of IT, telephones and other kit
  • To undertake any other duties which reasonably fall within the scope of the role

Requirements:

  • Excellent IT capability, positive attitude to IT and enthusiasm to improve IT skills
  • Fully skilled in all MS office applications
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Empathy with Hospice ethos
  • Driving license and own car is essential to travel between sites
