Job Description

In this vital position, you will oversee the end-to-end management of over 44,000 assets. Reporting to the Head of EUC & Assets, you will coordinate a cooperative team of specialists to improve our hardware and software asset management capabilities. You will play a central part in ensuring financial transparency, licensing compliance, and the technical integrity of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Job Responsibility

  • Run ITAM improvement projects to ensure they meet strategic goals
  • Act as the process owner for IT Asset Management, ensuring alignment with ITIL v4 and internal policies
  • Manage ITAM budgets and report on asset depreciation and cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead the configuration and rollout of ITAM modules within the ServiceNow platform
  • Act as a key liaison for asset queries from Cybersecurity, Finance, and Procurement

Requirements

  • 5-7 years in IT asset management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or governance capacity
  • Proven experience using ITSM platforms (such as ServiceNow) and CMDB integration
  • A strong understanding of software licensing models and asset life-cycle operations
  • Tertiary degree in Business, IT, or a related field, plus ITIL Foundation certification
  • Ability to develop constructive relationships across a complex organisation
  • ITIL Foundation certification (v4 preferred)
  • Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or equivalent ITAM certification/relevant experience
  • Bachelor Degree
