Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Consultant to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT Asset Management principles and practices, with a proven track record of implementing effective asset management strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze complex IT environments and provide actionable insights to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement IT Asset Management strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current IT asset inventories and management processes
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of IT assets
  • Provide guidance on best practices for asset lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal
  • Analyze asset data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge of IT Asset Management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to IT asset management
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management frameworks and methodologies
  • Proficiency in asset management tools and software
  • Experience in developing and implementing asset management policies and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7 10 years of experience in IT Asset Management or related consultancy roles
  • Proven experience in managing IT asset portfolios and driving cost optimization initiatives
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have:

  • Certifications in IT Asset Management (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770)
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools
  • Familiarity with cloud asset management practices
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to IT assets
