Job Description:

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing IT assets across their full lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, supporting compliance initiatives, and driving cost-effective asset utilization. The position partners closely with IT and business teams to improve visibility, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage IT assets across the full lifecycle including procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement
  • Maintain accurate asset records across systems such as ITAM tools and CMDB, ensuring timely updates
  • Perform regular data audits, reconciliations, and inventory checks to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Identify and resolve asset data discrepancies proactively across multiple systems
  • Track software licenses, usage, and entitlements to support compliance and optimize spend
  • Assist with audit readiness activities and ensure alignment with licensing requirements
  • Monitor warranties, maintenance agreements, and renewal timelines, partnering with vendors as needed
  • Support procurement processes by providing asset data for purchasing and contract alignment
  • Generate reporting on asset inventory, utilization, and cost trends to support budgeting and forecasting
  • Build and maintain dashboards to improve visibility for IT and business stakeholders
  • Execute and enhance asset management processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, technical support, or a closely related function
  • Working knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles for hardware and software environments
  • Experience using asset management, service management, or ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in data maintenance, validation, and reconciliation
  • Familiarity with software licensing concepts and compliance support activities
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a structured environment
