As a Salesforce Administrator within our Enterprise IT Applications team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, optimising, and extending our Salesforce platform and integrated Certinia (FinancialForce) applications. You will ensure the platform runs smoothly, securely, and supports scalable business operations across our global organisation. This hands‑on role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a proactive, user‑centred mindset. You will support teams across the business by resolving user issues, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing system capabilities aligned with business needs.
Job Responsibility:
Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce (Sales Cloud, CPQ) and Certinia applications
Manage Certinia objects, permissions, PSA workflows, and financial processes within the platform
Ensure system stability, performance, and adherence to architectural standards
Provide high‑quality support for Salesforce and Certinia users, addressing functional and technical issues
Deliver training, guidance, and documentation to empower users and promote adoption
Perform regular data audits and cleansing
Utilise tools such as Data Loader and Certinia data utilities to manage large‑scale data operations
Ensure data consistency across Salesforce and Certinia applications
Support and configure Certinia modules such as PSA, Billing, Revenue Management, and ERP
Assist business teams with financial processes supported by Certinia, including project management, revenue recognition, invoicing, and time & expense
Support integrations between Certinia and Salesforce core objects
Maintain and enforce Salesforce and Certinia security best practices
Manage roles, profiles, permission sets, and data access models
Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
Conduct regular system health checks and platform audits
Support performance monitoring and contribute to optimisation initiatives
Assist with change requests, functional refinement, UAT, and release cycles
Support CI/CD and deployment pipelines using tools such as Gearset
Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and training materials
Prepare reports and dashboards to support business insight and operational excellence
Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Finance, Professional Services, Sales, Operations, and IT
Support ongoing enhancement programmes and contribute to continuous improvement
Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce and Certinia product updates
Recommend improvements to processes, user experience, and technical architecture
Requirements:
Proven experience administering and configuring Salesforce
Hands‑on experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) modules such as PSA, Billing, or Revenue Management
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, automation (Flows), and best practices
Experience with Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Import Wizard)
Familiarity with Git‑based version control and CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins)
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
Ability to manage change requests and support system upgrades
Adaptability in a fast‑moving business environment
Nice to have:
Experience with Marketing Cloud, Pardot, CPQ, MuleSoft, or ERP integration
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart)
Experience with sandbox management and release‑management best practices
Understanding of financial or professional services processes
