Job Description:

Detail-oriented IT Applications Analyst position involving managing data governance processes, utilizing advanced tools to analyze and interpret data, and supporting business intelligence initiatives

Job Responsibility:

Analyze, interpret, and manage data to support decision-making and business objectives
Develop and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance
Utilize Microsoft SQL to write complex queries and optimize database performance
Implement and support BusinessObjects technologies to enhance reporting and data visualization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and support business intelligence solutions
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and patterns that inform strategic decisions
Manage data models using tools like Erwin Data to ensure consistency and accuracy
Troubleshoot issues related to data systems and provide timely resolutions
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data governance processes and BI tools
Train and guide team members on best practices for data analysis and governance

Requirements:

Proven experience with Microsoft SQL, including writing and optimizing queries
Strong knowledge of BusinessObjects technologies and their implementation
Expertise in data analysis and business intelligence methodologies
Familiarity with data modeling tools such as Erwin Data
Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
