Job Description

We are looking for a colleague to our Data Modeling & Data Quality Products team, who will be working with TopBraid EDG Platform.

Job Responsibility

  • Technical/Functional support for semantic modeling tool including troubleshooting, bugs analysis, development contribution (extensions, automations, additional features)
  • Participation in developing conceptual data models
  • Support for optimizing the tool and data it contains
  • Performing analyses on software application functionality, improve data procedures, guidelines and standards
  • Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaboration with application stakeholders in an international environment
  • Execution of application tests and support in issues solving

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in similar position
  • Masters of IT Science, BigData, Mathematics or alike
  • Understanding of data modeling, ontologies, taxonomies and glossaries
  • Principles of ontology modeling with RDFS/OWL and SHACL
  • Technologies: W3C, RDF Data Model: URIs, Triples, Graphs
  • Experience in query language: SPARQL or SQL and willingness to learn
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Structured, analytic, self-dependent, customer & target oriented
  • Open-minded, helpful and willing to learn
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication

Nice to have

  • Programming skills in Java or JavaScript would be an advantage
  • German would be a plus
