On behalf of our client, Robert Half Talent Solutions, Technology Division is seeking an IT Analyst I to provide hands-on, onsite IT support during a period of operational transition. This role will support day-to-day end-user needs while also assisting with IT activities related to facility changes, including equipment collection, system support, and infrastructure assistance. The position reports directly to the Chief Information Technology Officer (CTIO) and works closely with a small, distributed IT team supporting multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a go‑getter who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, stepping outside a strict job description when needed, and supporting users through change in a professional and supportive manner.
Job Responsibility:
Provide Tier 1–2 IT support for approximately 200 onsite and remote users
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (laptops, desktops, peripherals, basic server interactions)
Support laptop imaging, wiping, updates, and device collection during employee transitions
Assist with Active Directory tasks (user access, onboarding/offboarding, password resets)
Create, activate, and deactivate badging/access as employees onboard or exit
Support basic server and infrastructure tasks, including equipment takedown and relocation as directed
Respond to and track all work through the company’s help desk ticketing system
Provide onsite IT support for nearby facilities as needed
Assist with short-term project work related to facility changes, shutdown support, or infrastructure stabilization
Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution
Maintain clear communication and documentation of work performed
Requirements:
1–3 years of hands-on IT support or IT Analyst experience
Strong desktop and laptop troubleshooting skills (Windows environment)
Experience with Active Directory and user account administration
Familiarity with ticketing/help desk systems
Comfortable working with older/legacy systems
Willingness to travel occasionally during the workweek (short stints, as needed)
Strong communication skills with the ability to support users during times of change
Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently onsite
Nice to have:
Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
Exposure to basic networking or patching concepts
Azure familiarity (not required)
Experience supporting facility closures, transitions, or infrastructure changes
