They are seeking a detail?oriented and collaborative IT Administrator to ensure the reliability, continuity, and improvement of IT systems, networks, and user support. You will join a supportive IT team that values learning, transparency, and collective problem?solving, contributing to the organisation’s digital infrastructure across several European markets.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and optimise servers, data networks, and mobile devices to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide first-line support to end users, helping them resolve technical issues with clarity and empathy
Document standard procedures and system changes while creating accessible training for end users
Enhance and upgrade infrastructure components, ensuring reliable long-term performance
Secure IT systems and data through well-structured backup management and basic hardening practices
Install, configure, and test new hardware, software, and digital tools
Collaborate with colleagues in Belgium and internationally, including group-level ICT teams
Lead or participate in new IT projects, contributing to planning, execution, and evaluation
Travel occasionally to locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany when in-person support is needed
Work from the Grimbergen office or from home, depending on operational needs
Requirements:
Ambition to further develop your career in system administration and digital infrastructure management
At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
Your strengths include system & network administration, end-user support, and virtualisation fundamentals
Working experience with tools such as Office 365, Google Workspace, and VMware
Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
An inclusive, user-focused approach to technical support and teamwork
Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English
Nice to have:
Past experience in the collective or environmental services sector
French is a plus
