Job Description

We are looking for an IT Admin to join our client's team on contract to permanent basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing IT systems while providing hands-on assistance to employees. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to deliver exceptional technical solutions in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver responsive and detail-oriented IT support to address user needs and business demands
  • Administer and maintain back-office systems, including servers, storage, and networking solutions
  • Manage and oversee SaaS-based applications such as Office 365, Slack, and Zoom
  • Develop and document efficient processes for onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Perform hardware inventory management to ensure timely availability for user needs
  • Provide remote assistance for networking, storage, and systems administration tasks
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support
  • Independently resolve technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  • Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Author and share detailed documentation for both user education and IT operations

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on experience managing large-scale Office 365 deployments
  • Proficiency in desktop management tools such as Jamf, ConnectWise, and Intune
  • Familiarity with endpoint security solutions and back-office systems, including Cisco Meraki, VMware, and Active Directory
  • Previous experience within a medium-sized enterprise IT team of 300 or more employees
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Expertise in multi-platform environments, including Windows and Mac, with deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Background in using Desktop Management solutions and relevant software tools
