Job Description

We are seeking a professional Card Personalization Validation (CPV) Consultant with extensive expertise in card personalization certification process, performing tests using CPV test tools and a good understanding on the payment scheme standards. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in CPV testing, consulting, and certification, with added value from working with banks, processors, card issuers, or card personalization bureaus.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead CPV/ PVT certification processes, ensuring card personalization complies with Visa, Mastercard, and other scheme standards
  • Validate card data using tools such as Barnes, Datacard, or similar, ensuring compliance with personalization profiles, cryptographic key management, and chip data structure
  • Conduct comprehensive card personalization testing, troubleshooting data issues, and collaborate closely with issuers and technical teams to resolve them
  • Evaluate both the contact and contactless components of cards to ensure precise personalization in accordance with certification requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in CPV/ PVT certification with tools such as Barnes, Datacard, or similar
  • Proven experience working with payment networks, issuers, or personalization bureaus is a strong advantage
  • Deep knowledge of Discover, Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX personalization standards
  • Strong understanding of card personalization profiles, cryptography, and compliance with CPV/ PVT standards
  • Hands-on experience in managing cryptographic key management and secure element provisioning
  • Proven ability to consult and advise stakeholders, translating technical CPV/ PVT requirements into business solutions
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Lead day-to-day oversight of third-party asset managers across assigned mandates, including proactive manager dialogue, performance evaluation, portfolio risk assessment, and escalation of material risks
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external managers to help ensure portfolios are managed consistent with investment objectives, liability considerations, regulatory expectations, capital efficiency targets, and enterprise risk tolerances
  • Utilize a strong understanding of fixed income markets, corporate credit analysis, insurance investment considerations, and manager-of-managers governance to support disciplined portfolio oversight and investment decision-making
  • Oversee third-party asset managers for assigned mandates, including recurring communication, performance evaluation, guideline monitoring, and assessment of manager capabilities, portfolio positioning, and credit risk exposures
  • Evaluate aggregate exposures across managers, entities, portfolios, and asset classes, including sector, issuer, rating, duration, liquidity, spread, structured credit, private asset, and concentration risks
  • Lead manager due diligence, benchmark-relative performance analysis, watch-list monitoring, and escalation of performance, organizational, operational, or risk management concerns
