Are you ready for a 3-month assignment? We are looking for Female Adult Support Workers for a short-term contract on a beautiful Scottish Island. We are extending an urgent invitation to apply for a critical role within our island communities. This is a high-pay opportunity for dedicated individuals to provide essential support to adults and seniors. Due to the nature of the personal care required and the specific needs of the service users, we are preferentially seeking female applicants for this position. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide exceptional, person-centered support to adults in their own residences, ensuring their well-being and independence
  • Execute safe and compassionate moving and handling procedures, and deliver comprehensive personal care with dignity and respect
  • Administer medication accurately, meticulously maintaining detailed records and adhering to all protocols
  • Work independently, navigating diverse island locations to deliver support services
  • Diligently monitor and report any changes in service user health or circumstances to management, contributing to continuous care improvement

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience providing support to older adults within a Care at Home setting is essential
  • Full flexibility to work 5-6 days per week, with an expected commitment of approximately 45+ hours
  • A resilient and adaptable attitude, suitable for the unique challenges and rewards of remote and island environments
  • A Full UK Driving License and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory for this role
