Job Description

IPS & Quality Manager position responsible for lean production implementation, quality management systems, team building, and promoting continuous improvement culture within IKEA's production and supply chain operations in Dalian, China.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the organization and implementation of lean production
  • Responsible for introducing lean management methods and concepts
  • Provide lean tools and methods required for project implementation
  • Promote co-workers improvement, eliminate waste, improve product quality and improve production efficiency
  • Responsible for the training and promotion of lean production tools
  • Organize and lead the workshop to recommend lean production according to the plan
  • Audit and supervise the implementation of lean production in each department
  • Provide professional suggestions and schemes for improvement measures
  • Track and feedback the operation of the company's lean production system in real time
  • Kaizen activity planning and implementation
  • Establish quality standards for raw material, semi-manufactured goods and finished goods
  • Collect information related to quality, analyse and make continual improvement of quality
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance system
  • Ensure that plant manufacturing practice is compliant with requirement of IKEA quality
  • Ensure that all technical and quality document are timely received and distributed
  • Treat with claim about quality, analysis, take corrective actions and review the documents of quality
  • Improve the lean talent training mechanism
  • Promote the improvement of lean ability of line managers
