We are seeking an experienced IP & Security Planning Solution Architect to design and optimise advanced IP and security services across diverse technologies and vendors. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture complex business requirements, lead virtual technology teams during design and delivery phases, and ensure seamless transition of newly developed solutions into operations. The role demands deep subject-matter expertise in IP backbone architecture, mobile networks, and security platforms, with a strong ability to influence key stakeholders across multiple markets.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the planning, technical assessment, and design of IP and security solutions aligned with strategic architecture and the established product catalogue
Capture and analyse customer and business requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and high‑quality solution proposals
Manage and guide virtual technology teams and stakeholders across business, technology, and operational domains during design and implementation phases
Act as the primary technical representative for project teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective communication with all stakeholders
Support operations teams in resolving complex IP and security issues, ensuring continuous stability and service reliability
Produce comprehensive low‑level designs and solution documentation to support delivery and operational readiness
Requirements:
6–8 years of experience in IP and security planning and design in a mobile operator or service provider environment
Strong background in mobile and fixed network technologies, including end‑to‑end design and service rollout
Proven experience in presales activities, network design, and solution proposals within a telecom environment
Advanced understanding of IP backbone protocols (RIP, OSPF, ISIS, BGPv4, MPLS and related technologies)
Deep expertise in security platforms and concepts (firewalls, IPS, proxies, VPNs, NAT, WAF, IPSEC)
Hands‑on experience with major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Fortigate, Palo Alto)
Proficiency in SDN, NFV, virtualisation platforms (OpenStack, VMware), and automation/programming languages (C++, Python, Ansible)
Bachelor’s degree in electronics/telecommunications engineering
professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIP, CCIE, JNCIE are advantageous
Strong critical thinking, influencing skills, and the ability to develop practical solutions to strategic business needs
International working exposure is desirable
