Job Description:

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly-qualified and experienced Paralegal to join a market-leading global company based in Saudi Arabia. This lucrative position sits within their Intellectual Property Law Department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Primarily involve Patent work, specifically Patent docketing
  • Following in-place procedures and docketing new patent cases onto relevant software
  • Working closely with the ‘inventors’ and obtaining the necessary formal documents required
  • Providing a preliminary review of invention disclosure forms and categorising them by technology

Requirements:

  • Good law degree (bare minimum 2:1) from a leading University
  • Preferable additional Paralegal Certification from a recognised National organisation
  • Vast wealth of relevant Paralegal experience (4+ years) gained In-house at a multinational corporation or law firm
  • Experience in the oil and gas, refining, chemicals, power or other energy-related industries is a distinct advantage
  • Willing and easily able to relocate to Saudi Arabia
  • Prior experience or a deep desire to work in the region is highly preferred

Nice to have:

  • Arabic linguistic skills (although welcome) are not required for this role
