We at Nova, are a very young and dynamic team, the 2nd largest telecom provider in Greece, looking for vibrant and fast thinking " IP Network & Security Engineer” to be part of our “IP Network & Security Operations team”

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing network changes and upgrades, troubleshooting and resolving faults, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring seamless service for customers
  • Implement changes and upgrades to network elements with a strong focus on minimizing customer service risks
  • Participate in audits, Proof of Concept (PoC) trials, and testing procedures
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults efficiently
  • Analyze and escalate customer complaints where necessary
  • Develop and maintain documentation for operational and maintenance processes
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve trouble reports within agreed SLAs
  • Participate in a rotational standby scheme, providing 24x7 second-level support for relevant systems and platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications sector
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, or equivalent) are highly valued
  • Experience in Linux, scripting languages, Python and Ansible
  • Experience in AAA (Radius), DHCP and relevant well-known software (Kea/ISC DHCP, FreeRadius, Radiator, etc)
  • Experience in Fortinet firewalls. Cisco ACI
  • To be able to act as a team player, to work collaboratively, providing technical support
