Job Description:

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Lead, you will be key in leading commercial related activities across the US. In addition, you will support the plan and execution of profitable and innovative business solutions for the region. This includes some of Vodafone’s largest customers across IoT in support of the regional targets. You will perform a highly consultative and customer facing role, aligning closely with the Sales teams to ensure deep understanding of the customer’s business challenges. You will drive the creation of commercial strategies and proposals for increasingly complex deals that deliver growth to the region. You will also ensure adaptation of the global IoT commercial model to local requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the commercial lead for Global IoT opportunities, supporting regional Sales teams with end to end commercial development
  • Develop complex pricing strategies and propositions for IoT Global Strategic Accounts
  • Partner effectively with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, Product Management, and IoT Technology) to ensure transparent, aligned decision making
  • Manage governance and internal approval on pricing models and complex deals
  • Contribute to revenue growth and market share gains while maintaining disciplined margin management
  • Join key customer meetings alongside Account Teams to shape bid strategy and lead or support internal and external commercial negotiations
  • Share commercial best practices across regions and provide feedback that enables continuous improvement and process efficiency
  • Lead customer centric commercial activities that drive profitable growth for Vodafone IOT while proactively managing commercial risk
  • Apply strong market and competitive insight to shape regional commercial strategy, inform deal pricing, and influence commercial terms for IoT customers
  • Build and leverage strong stakeholder relationships to secure alignment, influence outcomes, and bring the full breadth of Vodafone capabilities to customers
  • Represent the commercial function in C level customer engagements and manage senior level interactions to support successful contract negotiations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen with a track record of driving profitability in both established and emerging service areas within competitive markets
  • Experience supporting complex sales pursuits in a commercial, sales, bid, or pricing related role
  • Background working within global enterprises or multinational environments
  • Strong experience in Commercial, Sales, or Operational roles
  • Proven ability to apply commercial logic and judgment to deliver strong business outcomes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
