You will be responsible for designing and implementing a business development strategy capable of hyperscaling IoT sales. Leveraging Global IoT Managed Connectivity as the core product and main growth engine, while ensuring full alignment with Vodafone IoT guidelines, standards, and strategic priorities. The role addresses customer needs for remote global management, enabling them to operate and control their businesses from anywhere in the world. It also focuses on delivering safer, more innovative, robust, and secure solutions that enhance how customers monitor and manage their global operations.
Job Responsibility:
Identify new market trends
Anticipate main Customer needs, in each vertical
Follow regulatory decisions that can originate new IoT opportunities
Propose and align with Sales Areas, strategies to approach our Customers & Prospects
Interact with Vodafone Sales Channels, namely their Managers, Coordinators and Account Managers to pursuit a consistent tracking of opportunities
Establish continuous follow up with Indirect Sales Partners to support Customers during their digitalization process
Cooperate with Product & Go to Market on the IoT Strategic Plan, as well on the Communications Plan and respective activities
Keep tracking of leads portfolio that is being pursuit by Vodafone Portugal
Provide support to Pre Sales and Delivery Teams
Prepare in articulation with VDF IoT Technical, Pricing, Commercial, Regulatory & Legal teams, Pricing Proposals, RFQ’s and RFI’s and interact with VDF - PT Account Managers
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master's degree
Experience in sales in IOT / B2B telecoms/IT environments, preferable solution sales
Deep knowledge of the Portuguese IoT market and/ or experience with placing propositions in Corporate Market
Proven leadership skills
Extensive history of successful sales in a B2B telecoms/IT environment
Analytical/Conceptual thinking
Good technical/ process understanding
Open character, positive thinking, ambition to create new things complemented with a can-do attitude
C-Level sales presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent strategic/ process skills
Fluency in Portuguese and English
