To support this key strategic growth, we are looking for an IoT Billing Specialist. This role holder will be part of the IoT Billing Systems Team supporting and implementing the platform roadmap strategy and transformation. As an IoT Billing Specialist will have a good understanding of software development lifecycle and methodology, with a deep technical understanding of the domain and the components within it. As IoT Billing Specialist will be working closely with Product Managers, Architects and Engineers, Billing Operations teams and vendors to support on build the Billing Systems technology plan and roadmap. The role holder will play an instrumental role in an agile environment and will be key to Vodafone IoT maintaining our global leadership position in IoT.

Job Responsibility

  • Assess and document new billing demands and capabilities
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and support backlog refinement
  • Provide technical guidance to the Billing Technical Team
  • Support the Billing Operations Team with operational readiness and incident resolution
  • Liaise with stakeholders to align on invoicing, tax models, and settlement processes
  • Monitor progress and report on demand and requirements delivery

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc level degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications
  • Experience and understanding of BSS Platforms, Billing Platforms
  • Experience and understanding of Billing and Invoicing flows
  • Knowledge or know-how of fundamental elements of IoT systems
  • At least 3-4 years of proven experience in developing & deploying large scale enterprise solutions for Revenue/ Billing Management systems
  • Proven hands-on experience on Revenue / mediation / billing platforms
  • Proven experience with technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Shell script, Linux scripting, Jenkins, GIT
  • Understanding of Billing platforms available in the market (APRM, BRM ..)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (certificate would be a plus)
  • Big picture oriented, end-to-end and concept to-operations thinker
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-centric and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven resiliency to cope with high pressure situations
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
