Our Engineering teams are interdisciplinary: you will cooperate directly with Backend, Frontend, iOS, and Android Engineers, and together you and your team are responsible for all functionality of our Catawiki apps and our web app within the team’s product domain. You will create software that helps our buyers and our sellers by delivering new features and reducing user friction.
Job Responsibility:
Improving and delivering product innovations for the Catawiki platform
Building beautiful and adaptable native mobile app features on top of scalable microservices
Ensuring features work well on all recent iOS and iPadOS devices and recent OS versions
Keeping track of system performance and optimising it where needed
Using A/B experiments to add product features and deliver the best user experience
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an iOS Engineer using Swift as your main stack
Proven experience working in product companies and collaborating closely with other engineers and product managers
Experience in designing and implementing features with a focus on stability, performance, and consistency
Proficient in native technologies - SwiftUI, UIKit, and the Swift standard library
Routinely apply object-oriented and functional, imperative and declarative programming paradigms
Experience with testing frameworks - XCTest, XCUITest, Quick & Nimble, snapshot testing, and/or Swift Testing
Understanding of good programming principles - SOLID, DRY
Can discuss and propose API designs
Consider performance, testing, security, localisation, accessibility, and observability when building features
Know how to monitor and manage an application in production
Nice to have:
Familiarity or affinity with other tech stacks (frontend web, backend, Android)
Experience running it in production
