Job Description:

We are looking for an iOS developer for the newly formed MarTech team at Kleinanzeigen. The team provides technological support for marketing and advertising processes, ensuring integration with external marketing tools. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing SDKs from external providers, expanding the application with new ad placements and ways to communicate with users, and tracking user activity in iOS applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designs, develops and maintains applications and APIs for mobile devices that typically include internet and messaging functions
  • Analyzes third-party/client requirements and develops innovative and useful mobile software solutions
  • Typically develops high-performance applications for mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS
  • Keeps track of the latest fast changing mobile developments
  • Tests cutting-edge techniques and tools to apply to new mobile solutions
  • May participate in all aspects of product development from detailed programming to high-level system design
  • Implementing SDKs from external providers
  • Expanding the application with new ad placements and ways to communicate with users
  • Tracking user activity in iOS applications

Requirements:

  • Experience working with large codebases and in large teams
  • Understanding of software architecture and writing clean, testable code
  • Experience writing unit tests and ui tests
  • Familiar with Git and Agile workflows
  • Solid understanding of Swift language features (optionals, generics, protocols, value vs. reference types)
  • Ability to read, understand, and refactor existing code in large repositories
  • Basic use of Xcode Instruments (Time Profiler, Allocations, Leaks)
  • Required independence in determining the scope and performing programming tasks
  • Good communication skills required – necessity to cooperate with other teams developing the same area of the application

Nice to have:

  • Experience with analytics libraries is a plus (eg.: Firebase analytics, Adjust SDK, etc.)
  • Exposure to multi-module codebases or framework-based architectures
  • Exposure to SwiftUI and Combine
