Job Description:

The Buyer Growth team is responsible for driving Whatnot’s top-of-funnel growth and first-time buyer success. We focus on acquisition, activation, and early retention, partnering closely with product, data, design, and marketing to build experiences that bring new users into the ecosystem and turn them into loyal customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and scale critical growth initiatives such as onboarding flows, referral systems, sharing, promotion, rewards hub
  • Develop innovative systems and features for our iOS mobile app using Swift and drive architectural decisions to ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and extensible as we scale rapidly
  • Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to refine product strategies
  • Work across product, marketing, and data science to identify high-leverage growth opportunities and rapidly iterate on experiments

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Swift, with a deep understanding of iOS fundamentals and SwiftUI-driven UI architecture
  • Proven track record of delivering user-facing features
  • Excellent product instincts

Nice to have:

  • Experience with E-commerce or Social products
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, analytics instrumentation, or growth experimentation tooling
